Responsibilities
- Regional Event Planning & Project Management
- Be the end-to-end project management lead for selected Asia events/projects (e.g. RSI, NBA House, Celebrity Games etc)
- Develop detailed project timelines, workback schedules, and delivery milestones aligned with overall Asia Asset long termplan and strategy
- Support the Talent Integration and Strategy Lead in mapping out Asia's talent engagement requirements for all future Asia key events in a holistic manner

- Cross-Functional & Commercial Coordination
- Serve as the primary hub for cross-functional coordination between Commercial, Operations and Support teams, including Media and Marketing Partnerships, Marketing, Content, PR, Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
- Ensure partner deliverables and activation rights (as defined in commercial term sheets) are operationalized and executed on time.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Content teams to integrate digital storytelling, broadcast plans, and youth talent amplification.
- Vendor, Agency & Production Management
- Work closely with the Events Lead to identify the best vendors in the region and engage them for all Asia's key local assets- RSI Finals and Qualifiers, NBA House and Celebrity Games
- Manage event agencies and production partners for best-in-class execution.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to NBA global standards across all events.
- Budgeting, Reporting & Operational Governance
- Support event-level budget development, cost management, vendor negotiation, and financial governance.
- Provide operational reporting, issue escalation, and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership.
- Conduct post‑event evaluations and implement insights to optimize future events
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- 10-15+ years in event management, operations, sports marketing, or similar fields.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-country events in Asia.
- Exceptional project management, operational planning, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong commercial acumen-budgeting, forecasting, cost governance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
- High resilience, problem-solving capability, and comfort with fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with sponsorship fulfillment, media integration, and event activation models.
- Culturally sensitive and able to operate across diverse Asian markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Familiarity with event production, risk management, safety protocols, and logistics.
- EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Sports Management, Events, Marketing, or related field).
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
- Additional certifications in event management or sports administration are advantageous.
