The Department of Pediatrics , Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. Position Highlights: Contribute to advancing the health and well-being of children and their families. Collaborate with partners to care, support and empower youth. Notable partnerships include: Rogers Memorial Hospital - A collaborative partner in providing behavioral health services and specialized care for adolescent eating disorders. Milwaukee Count/Youth Detention Center - Supporting youth in detention. Local Public School - Providing community-based youth support and education. Health Department - Supports the provision of reproductive health services to detained youth. State of Wisconsin - Assists in support for reproductive health initiatives. Partner with faculty in clinical practices at Children's Wisconsin, in collaboration with the Medical College of Wisconsin, to deliver exceptional care to children and families, alongside some of the world's top pediatric doctors, advanced practice providers and scientists. 90% clinical, 10% scholarly activity Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) The schedule will be a mix of inpatient consult services with an on call component and an ambulatory presence within the community. Salaried (Exempt) Department/Division Highlights: Our division is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of adolescents through high-quality outpatient care at multiple clinical locations throughout Milwaukee. We are developing innovative programs to increase access to essential prevention services and medical care, with a focus on addressing both physical and psychosocial needs to ensure a healthier, more productive future for young people. Our team excels in providing specialized care for individuals with eating disorders, hormonal regulation, reproductive health, and the unique needs of incarcerated adolescents and young adults. Moving forward, we are focused on expanding our outreach into the community and enhancing our practice to include substance abuse counseling and treatment. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of adolescents by providing high-quality outpatient care across multiple clinical sites in Milwaukee. Our focus is on developing innovative programs that improve access to prevention services and medical care, addressing both medical and psychosocial needs to promote healthier, more productive futures.
