Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of operational objectives and medium-term planning, aligned to long-term Technology and people strategies.
  • Ensure compliance considerations (e.g., labor regulations, reporting requirements, rewards governance) are reflected in Workday-enabled solutions.

  • Successful delivery and ongoing operation of standardized HCM solutions aligned with business and global Technology strategies.

  • Minimum Requirements
  • Work Experience
  • Extensive experience working with Core HCM solutions, with Workday HCM as the primary platform, covering core employee lifecycle processes (hire to retire), organizational structures, worker data, and security concepts.
  • Proven experience in owning and shaping Core HCM solutions from a Technology perspective, including solution design, configuration governance, and roadmap evolution.
  • Strong background designing, governing, and operating integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems, ensuring robust data flows, integrity, and end-to-end process continuity.
  • Exposure to SAP HR Core environments, particularly within hybrid or transitioning HR technology landscapes.
  • Experience with Payroll and/or Time & Attendance solutions is highly valued, especially when involving integrations with Workday or other Core HCM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in global, multi-country, and matrixed environments, supporting standardized platforms while balancing local requirements.
  • Strong experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across P&O, business functions, vendors, and Technology teams.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
  • Regular interaction with senior leadership and global stakeholders.

Job Description Summary The P&O Core HCM Solution Lead plays a critical role in enabling effective and scalable people management by providing strong Technology leadership for P&O Core Solutions within Technology. The role is accountable for the design, evolution, and operational excellence of Core HCM platforms, with a primary focus on Workday HCM and complementary exposure to all other key HCM Solutions. This position requires deep functional and technical expertise across Core HCM capabilities, including employee lifecycle processes, data models, integrations, and global solution design.
