Follow written and verbal instructions. Use manual and mechanical devices such as chain hoists, drum carts, and pallet jacks; to move, stage or lift material. Accurately weigh and safely add materials according to process orders. Set up and operate equipment for mixing and blending paint related materials. Help maintain accurate inventory levels and organization. Collect samples from batch for laboratory testing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hand(s) and arm(s), stoop, use hands and fingers to complete tasks that require dexterity. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 55 pounds by hand and move or manipulate heavier loads with mechanical assistance. To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Required: Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment Required: Ok to work repetitive tasks with accuracy (10-hour shift) Preferred: Previous manufacturing experience Preferred: Previous experience operating fork trucks Qualified candidates MUST supply a Resume with work history that highlights work experience and education accomplishments at the time of application. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of drug screening, background check, and physical exam. Drug Testing is part of the post-offer employment physical.
