English version (French is at the bottom) Purpose of the job : The Frontline Manager / Regional Director France is an important member of the Clinical Solutions sales management team and member of the Global Sales team. The role is responsible for the successful go-to-market strategy and execution (e.g., sales trainings, coaching on the job and pipeline management) for key products (e.g., CKS, CK Physician, CKAI, Complete Anatomy, Osmosis, Nursing Products, PSS) across France and French speaking countries , developing commercial programs (incl. pricing), actively driving operational excellence (e.g., setting clear standards, ensuring processes are tight and controls are in place), setting up and maintaining Clinical Solutions KPI dashboard and driving overall accountability. This role would be responsible for realizing the targets and reporting back to management on execution. The Regional Director France will report to the VP Sales Europe. It is a mission-critical position in our organization that will transform how we reach and interact with medical, nursing and other health professional students, faculties, schools and hospitals and drive overall transformation from the sales team towards the ONE Health structure. Main activities and responsibilities : Drive overall penetration in the Clinical Solutions and EHE segment # Interface and prioritize global expansion opportunities for existing products building go-to-market plans for CKS for medical schools and CKP for hospitals (two of the 3 biggest growth drivers for Elsevier Health) # Develop overall sales strategy together with salesmanagement and segment commercial leadership # Work with product and marketing to develop and execute the go-to-market plan (including setting marketing and selling activities) within timeline and budget # Make all possible efforts to have CKS as the portfolio for medical education in the market and CKP and CKAI the support tool for the professional health market in France Develop commercial programs # Lead pricing efforts for the Clinical Solutions and EHE Sales team together with pricing authority in order to achieve quota # Set, together with VP, pricing authority, sales leadership and finance, clear commercial rules for the Clinical Solutions / EHE segment # Think about creative new programs and growth business opportunities # Work with the team on a renewal strategy, develop a customer engagement program to guarantee the business sustainability and secure large renewals timely Drive operational excellence, accountability and alignment across the teams # Define clear and standardised world-class go-to-market process together with product, marketing and sales # Close monitor to sales pipeline and reporting on Salesforce, ensure the usage of the teams # Embrace and apply MEDDPICC, Miller Heiman and Franklin Covey Sales methodologies # Ensure overall go-to-market processes are tight and controls are in place # Ensure that overall targets are aligned M&A, partnerships and strategic planning # Support overall M&A and partnership agenda for the Clinical Solutions segment and Health Education segment # Manage strategic planning process for Clinical Solutions and EHE People & Change management Hiring the right talent, developing, management and succession planning - Demonstrate support of global and local company values, reflected in behaviour, decisions and actions. - Guide and inspire employees to set and agree objectives at the start of the year and continuously review performance towards objectives. - Create an open and professional environment where employees are engaged to go the extra mile - Change management; guide, facilitate and help employees to navigate change as and when the need arises - Ensure effective and powerful communication across the department Key competencies # Demonstrated strategic acumen, entrepreneurial behaviour # Excellent commercial skills; solid experience with sales methodologies as MEDDPICC, Miller Heiman # Result driven # Experience with Pipeline management tools as Sales Force, CRM, etc. # Proven go-to market capabilities in high demanding, complex markets # Solid financial skills and strong experience with price management # Deep knowledge and understanding of electronic/online products and software technology # Innovation ability to develop and execute new ideas through collaboration # Creative and positive problem solving and change management skills Education, Knowledge, skills and experience # University degree or equivalent work experience in best practices/fast moving and progressive corporate work environment (preferably in science, healthcare, technology). # Fluent in English # >5 years in sales in France, preferably in solutions selling. Additional experience in Strategic Consulting, Marketing or equivalent experience in Product Management # Prior experience in developing e-product specific business plans # Preferred experience in managing teams, in particular in an international mat
