Product Owner-Anaplan Connect

Requirements

• Experience working as a Product Owner in a technology-driven environment, preferably with experience in SaaS or enterprise software companies.
• Good understanding of data management, API solutions for Enterprise customers.
• Prior experience in other data management platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, Mulesoft or ETL tools.
• Domain knowledge of Anaplan or other planning solutions.
• Good understanding of the product management lifecycle and launching new products
• Proficiency in gathering and analysing market and customer insights.
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience in creating enablement documentation including technical & support style documents
• Highly analytical and able to troubleshoot issues quickly; candidates should be able to go from high level to low level very easily
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously
• Able and willing to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment

Anaplan is looking for a passionate Technical Product Owner to help drive the development of our next generation Planning and Decision Excellence platform. This person will be based in India and be instrumental in the execution of our product strategy, with data-driven and customer-oriented focus. The role will focus on Anaplan Connect API client within data integration area of the Anaplan Platform. Applicants should have a technical product management background and ideally relevant experience with Anaplan or other equivalent data integration solutions. Applicants would bring experience working with engineering teams to deliver products and solutions to the market, they would have to demonstrate that they will be able to learn a new market and understand the needs of our customers related to all things planning, modelling and analytics. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the existing product team to drive end-to-end product experiences: writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working with engineering, documentation, support, and marketing to deliver quality experiences. Understand the market for Enterprise Software in general and Anaplan specifically. Be the voice of the customer while understanding the competitive Landscape. Be able to define and segment users of the Anaplan platform qualitatively and quantitatively. Work with the Product leadership, UX, Engineering and other cross-functional teams on roadmap and capacity planning. Creating enablement material including technical & support documents, and video walk throughs. Effectively collaborate across global teams to create alignment between engineering teams and other product stakeholders. Train sales, customer success and support on new features and messaging. Work closely with engineering teams to execute on day-to-day development. Meet with customers, users, prospects, and partners to communicate Anaplan's product vision, product roadmap, and competitive differentiation.
