Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Lead and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, programs, and training initiatives
- Maintain and oversee chemical management documentation, environmental permitting support activities, and new equipment/process approval reviews

- Maintain and improve Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) documentation, processes, and compliance activities
- Conduct and coordinate EHS training programs including new employee orientation, regulatory training, emergency response, and safe work practices
- Lead or support investigations involving incidents, near misses, environmental releases, and severe injuries; conduct root cause analysis and track corrective actions through completion
- Conduct risk assessments, JSAs, and hazard evaluations to identify and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Support environmental compliance activities including stormwater sampling, waste management practices, emissions tracking, and environmental recordkeeping
- Provide technical EHS guidance and support for site projects, operational changes, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor contractor and vendor compliance with applicable EHS requirements and company standards
- Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and responses from OSHA, EPA, and other governing agencies
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced EHS team members and assist in developing site EHS capabilities
- Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- OSHA 30, Taproot Lead Auditor, ASP/GSP/CSP, CHMM, ISO Lead Auditor 14001/45001 certifications preferred
