This position is project-oriented and will challenge you to demonstrate strategic thinking, business acumen and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution for internal employee communications, inclusive of:
- monthly employee town halls and related internal communications activities.
- executive communications materials, including key messages, speaking notes and presentation content.
- internal stakeholder events and employee engagement initiatives across the Canadian organization.
- content development and storytelling / story-mining - internal and external audiences.
- Enterprise Storytelling, inclusive of:
- Ford Model e Communications - focused on shaping the future of EVs.
- Ford Blue Communications - focused on iconic ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles.
- Ford Pro Communications - supporting Ford's industry-leading commercial vehicle business in Canada.
Requirements
- 5 to 10+years of experience in internal and employee, brand and/or corporate communications.
- Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, journalism, media studies, marketing, advertising or a related field.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently.
- Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels.
- Proficiency with digital and social media tools relevant to content development, publishing and reporting.
- Bilingualism in English and French is a nice to have.
- News reporting or editing experience.
- A self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking with plan development and execution.
