About the role
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for coordinating payroll activities across US and International Payroll subsidiaries and branches of the Veeam Group. Responsibilities
- Coordinate payroll processing for the US and International regions in collaboration with the Global Payroll Director, including preparing and submitting monthly payroll input files
- Liaise with local payroll service providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll information flow, reviewing calculations and resolving payroll queries
- Monitor tax and social security liabilities across supported regions and ensure compliance with local laws and company policies
- Collaborate with HR to address and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly and comprehensively
- Review and authorize payroll-related bank transactions, including approving payments in online banking systems
- Support external annual audits by providing documentation and clarification on payroll-related matters
- Participate in payroll process improvement and enhancement projects as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an international payroll function
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, deadlines, and compliance
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability to change and a commitment to ongoing self-improvement
- Bonus Skills
- Professional certification in payroll, HR, or accounting (such as SOCPA or CIPD)
- Experience in a Shared Services Centre environment
- Knowledge of an additional European language
- Familiarity with international tax and social security requirements across US and International Payroll.
