Requirements
- Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in project finance, portfolio finance, or M&A in the energy sector.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of key financial concepts such as discounted cash flow analysis, time value of money, internal rate of return, and net present value.
- Experience building, auditing, and/or updating complex project finance models, with the ability to quickly generate summary economics, is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What The Role Is Clearway's Portfolio Finance team is a key contributor on both the development and operating sides of the business, covering both transactions during the construction and operations phases. The Portfolio Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the investor funding process for Clearway's utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. In addition, the Portfolio Finance Analyst will be highly involved in certain asset optimization transactions, including, but not limited to, refinancings, acquisitions of investor interests, "as is" valuations, and other forms of restructurings. This position is located in San Diego (Del Mar), CA. Pay Range by Job Level and geographic location .
