About the role

Technical Review & Quality Assurance - Review accounting work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. - Identify and resolve technical issues arising during engagements, including adjustments and clarifications. Team Guidance & Coaching - Guide, train, and mentor junior staff to build technical competencies and professional growth. - Provide feedback and support learning and development initiatives within the team. Client Advisory & Engagement - Conduct financial reviews and provide business advisory services to clients. - Offer tax advisory on corporate tax matters, working in collaboration with internal or external tax specialists as required. - Lead or support ad-hoc client engagements, ensuring service quality and timeliness. Client Onboarding & Management - Lead the onboarding process for new monthly clients, ensuring smooth transition and clear documentation. - Participate in meetings with consultants and clients for onboarding, system demonstrations, and service scoping. Xero Implementation & Support - Lead Xero implementation projects, including setup, data migration, and client-specific configurations. - Provide hands-on training and support to clients on using Xero for their day-to-day operations. - Collaborate with consultants during Xero demonstrations and customisation discussions.
