Working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to achieve divisional strategy, financial plan and personal objectives. Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Manage own cases (renewal and/or new business), writing within appetite, and underwriting authority. - Handle referral cases for Underwriters/Apprentices with less experience, whilst adhering to individual authority level. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions. - Support the Company's QA procedures by conducting case reviews, when required, to ensure that technical procedures and standards are followed. - Work towards divisional retention, conversion, rate and loss ratio targets. - Enhance Arch's standing and presence nationally by establishing and maintaining strong personal relationships with broking partners. - Display strong negotiation skills that aide conversion and relationships with all key brokers. - Maintain and enhance personal knowledge of relevant technical topics. - Work collaboratively with other parts of the organisation, most notably the UKR regional offices.
