Schedule: Part-time - 30 hours/week (eligible for benefits) 3 days/week Overnights (NOC) The Supportive Living House Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to assist the Manager. This position also performs regular duties, works with the respective Director of Operations to assist in monitoring residents and rooms. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinator duties (under direction of manager/director) to include: Assign household chores to residents. Monitor resident's rooms for cleanliness. Ensure that all residents are properly respecting and maintaining common areas (esp. kitchen, living room). Monitor that residents are following house rules including curfew/lights out hours. Maintain an inventory of all household supplies (i.e. cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, furniture, household keys, etc). Prepare bedrooms for all new residents (i.e. clean linens, dresser drawers, bedroom cleanliness etc). Welcome and introduce new residents to all existing residents. Review Program and House Rules with all new residents and ensure resident compliance with house rules. Communicate in a culturally sensitive manner. Communication Establish and maintain strong lines of communication with manager/directors related to residents. Monitor the safety of the environment. Maintain updated knowledge of policies and procedures for resident and employee safety, and emergency or evacuation plans. Participate in fire drills, evacuations and emergency codes when circumstances exist. Complete daily rounds for safety. Monitor proper use and functioning of appliances and other household equipment. Complete maintenance reports. Complete the appropriate documents and Qstatim documentation with an employee or visitor has been injured and demonstrate appropriate response. Maintain update knowledge in life-sustaining techniques and emergency first aid. Maintain the safety and confidentiality of the resident. Attend and participate in mandatory staff meetings, in-services, MDI team meetings Take personal responsibility to attend all staff meetings as directed by the manager/director. When unable to attend, call the manager/director as soon as possible and make alternate arrangements to receive information shared at the meeting. Maintain accurate records of in-services attended on the Staff Development Record. Participate in activities organized to ensure quality of services Participate and aid in the identification of performance improvement projects for resident-related issues. Interact with residents, family members, and significant others to reflect excellence in customer service. Monitor supplies Monitor daily supplies and complete the appropriate documents to restock as necessary. Obtain a signature from the manager/director for all supplies ordered. Provide training to staff and community resources Participate in new staff orientation/training. Participate in outside marketing activities as directed by the program manager/director. Promote department goals and the mission of Rogers Behavioral Health Communicate goals to fellow staff members. Demonstrate measurable goal achievement. Maintain department policies and procedures. Include requirements and guidelines from external agencies (NARR) Demonstrate understanding and support of NAAR, HIPPA, Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act (EMTALA), CFR (Code of Federal Regulations), and other regulatory agency compliance regulations, and comply with same. Involve self in the learning and the application of standards relevant to the Residence. Participate in in-services/seminars and other meetings to increase involvement and awareness of regulations. Involve self in the education of other disciplines regarding the supportive living setting. Participate in committees, team meetings and team projects, as directed Demonstrate punctuality and preparedness. Demonstrate effective communication skills. Demonstrate good organizational skills with agenda and minute preparation. Contribute in a positive, solution-focused manner. Participate in the Rogers Operating System (ROS) Gain understanding of the ROS process. Apply the ROS model to your department's activities. Participate in and/or create ROS teams that lead to improvement in other areas of Rogers Behavioral Health. Educate and involve self to the system and the Residential Center's ROS plans. Conduct self in a professional manner Demonstrate organizational skills that promote timely response to all inquiries and to project completion. Communicate with all individuals in a positive and professional manner. Attempt to resolve individual issues with peers in a positive, calm manner, with a focus on solution. Communicate concerns and provide solutions for same. Attend outside seminars to promote professional growth. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude toward parties outside Rogers Behavioral Health (patient families, visitors, vendors, etc.) Comply with the Hospital's policies and procedures, including Human Res
