About the role

Job Responsibilities Represent the Client on all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters. Monitor contractors' compliance with the WSH Act, subsidiary legislation, and project safety requirements. Conduct regular site safety inspections and report findings. Follow up on rectification of unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices. Verify that corrective actions have been effectively implemented. Review contractors' Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documents where required. Monitor the implementation of approved safety documents on site. Maintain records of inspections, observations, and safety reports. Monitor incidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses reported by contractors. Review contractors' incident investigation reports and corrective action plans. Verify that appropriate corrective and preventive actions have been implemented. Provide independent observations and recommendations to the Client where necessary. Escalate significant safety concerns or recurring issues to the Client's Project Manager. Maintain records of reportable incidents and monitor trends for continual improvement. Job Requirements Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Minimum 5 years of relevant WSH experience in construction, A&A, maintenance, or infrastructure projects. Good communication and report writing skills. 6 day work week, 1 weekday off day
