As the Director, Human Resources you will report directly to the CHRO and be a senior leader within the Human Resources department responsible for employee relations, HR operations, and oversight of the HR team. Strategically partner with and guide the HR team, management, and other personnel regarding people related topics in alignment with EBG values such as employment law, performance management, complex employee relations, employment policies, leaves of absence, accommodation requests, and employment‑related aspects of corporate initiatives. Direct employee relations issues, with your team's support, to ensure leaders effectively, legally, and timely manage employee performance issues in the appropriate manner with optimal outcomes. Oversee HRIS processes, reporting, analytics, and data integrity of the organization's HR system of record. Ensure alignment of HRIS, HR practices, employee data, and reporting with payroll and downstream processes. Oversee employee benefit offerings to include annual renewals, open enrollment, benefit vendor management escalations, benefits administration, and employee experience support. Direct the management of leaves of absence (LOAs) in compliance with relevant laws, and execute administration with the best potential outcomes. Lead compensation initiatives including annual merit processing, bonus processing, incentive plans, long term incentive plans/ equity (units) and compensation reviews to ensure pay and variable pay are administered appropriately and timely. Lead workforce analytics efforts to identify trends, risks, and insights related to employee relations, compliance, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Partner with HR leadership to support consistent, legally compliant performance management processes, including manager coaching and documentation standards. Design, update, and implement in‑house and/or vendor‑provided training programs, focused on lawful people management and respectful workplace practices. Create, update, and manage employment policies and handbook updates, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Monitor federal, state, and local legal developments and advise HR leadership and business leaders on compliance related to changes in laws and regulations. Oversee and conduct internal investigations of employment‑related and other types of claims. Partner with internal Legal resources and external counsel, as needed, to support dispute resolution strategies, mediation, agency matters, and employment litigation support. Assist with management of Workers' Compensation claims and other relevant documentation and coverage management. Assist in Merger & Acquisition and other strategic people initiatives as needed. Support the Human Resources department's overall goal of increasing organizational efficiency and achievement of business objectives in a manner that minimizes legal and employee relations risk. Participate in relevant audits as required. Perform other duties as assigned. 5+ years of experience managing a Human Resources team. 7+ years of broad and progressive Human Resources experience with significant focus on employee relations, performance management, employment law compliance, and risk management. deep knowledge of employment‑law expertise gained through senior Human Resources leadership experience. Juris Doctor preferred. (Bar membership in Florida preferred if JD‑qualified but not required.) Demonstrated experience managing HR professionals, preferably within employee relations or HR operations or employment related legal functions. Demonstrated experience overseeing HRIS platforms (ADP WorkforceNow preferred), employee benefits programs, and workforce analytics. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, including experience related to Title VII and harassment investigations, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, including review and evaluation of workplace accommodation requests.
