BIW PDR Repairs Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute paintless dent repair (PDR) on aluminum and steel BIW panels using precision tools.
• Perform heavy structural repairs including panel replacement, straightening, and welding to restore OEM specifications.
• Diagnose damage and determine appropriate repair methods using Lucid's repair standards and documentation.
• Operate equipment such as frame alignment systems, MIG/TIG welders, rivet guns, and hydraulic tools .
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure repair accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts usage, and inspection results.
• Uphold Lucid's commitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement .

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automotive BIW repair, collision repair, or OEM manufacturing .
• Proficiency in PDR techniques and heavy structural repair of aluminum and high-strength steel.
• Familiarity with EV platforms and advanced body materials .
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, repair manuals, and digital work instructions .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Certification in automotive repair, welding, or collision repair preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment .
