Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in paint mixing, coatings, finishing, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of paint, stain, and coating ingredients, including solvents, pigments, binders, and catalysts.
- Excellent color perception and ability to distinguish subtle variations in shade and tone.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple batches, formulas, and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude, including ability to use mixing equipment, spray equipment, and testing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret formulas, SDS sheets, and technical instructions.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining proper documentation.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials up to 30-35 lbs. max or a 5-gallon bucket of paint.
- Capacity to work in environments with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and noise (with appropriate PPE provided).
- Visual acuity adequate for color matching and material inspection.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in wood finishing or cabinet manufacturing.
- Familiarity with digital color‑matching tools.
- Understanding production workflows and learning manufacturing principles.
