Additional Information

We have offices in York, Allentown, Bensalem, Reading, Wilkes Barre, Harrisburg, and Lancaster. We operate 7 medical centers that serve over 30,000 patients annually and offer comprehensive sexuality education that reaches thousands of young adults. Planned Parenthood Keystone is committed to being an organization that includes people from various backgrounds, skills, perspectives and experiences, and fully uses their talents to serve our communities. Planned Parenthood Keystone believes that drawing on the talents of all personnel helps to create an optimum, creative and inclusive workplace. Planned Parenthood Keystone is looking for a full-time, exempt Director of Major Gifts who lives within an hour of one of our centers. The Director of Major Gifts is an active member of the Development team and will be focused on all aspects of donor stewardship, solicitation, and prospecting. As an affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKey) shares many core development functions with PPFA, including a shared database, access to wealth screening tools, collaboration with dedicated departments for donor intelligence department and planned giving. PPFA also has a thriving and highly effective mid-level giving program, which regularly feeds prospects into our Discovery pipeline. The goal of this role is to focus on maximizing all these resources to build and deepen one-on-one relationships with PPKey's top donors and best prospects across its 37-county region. We're looking for a front-line fundraiser who can also think strategically about the pipeline as a whole: who is there right now, who should be there, who can come out to make room for others with more potential. And then get out into the field and execute on that strategy. PP Keystone values the recruitment of staff with diverse experiences, backgrounds and perspectives. PP Keystone considers all applicants for employment irrespective of their membership in any particular EEO category and strongly encourages all persons to apply.
