Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

About the role

Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and outcome-focused support plans Deliver strengths-based interventions promoting independence and resilience Assess for equipment, Assistive Technology, and minor/major adaptations Provide moving & handling advice and risk management strategies Support reablement and reduce long-term care needs Work collaboratively with health, housing, and partner agencies Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with legislation Maintain accurate, legally compliant records and reports Manage a varied caseload and contribute to service performance

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005 & relevant legislation
• Experience in community / adult social care settings
• Confident completing assessments and writing reports digitally
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
