Medical Scientist

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency : Demonstrate a solid understanding of scientific principles related to drug discovery, with a preference for candidates having exposure to or familiarity with one or more of the following areas: small molecules, biologics, nucleic acid-based therapies, or cell therapy.
• Research Aptitude : Possess a strong aptitude for laboratory research, including experience or willingness to learn and apply techniques in preclinical research methodologies.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills : Exhibit good problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail in data collection and analysis.
• Communication : Have effective communication skills, both written and oral, to collaborate effectively within a research team.
• Education : Hold a bachelor's degree in biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field. A master's degree is highly desirable but not strictly required.
• Experience : Relevant industrial or academic experience, particularly in a research setting, is preferred. However, recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for pharmaceutical research will also be considered.
• Foundational Knowledge : Have a solid foundation in the principles of molecular biology, biochemistry, and a basic understanding of drug discovery processes.
• Additional Attributes : Strong work ethic, adaptability to learn new techniques, and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment are essential.
