Staff Nurse (Clinic)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient health screenings by monitoring vital signs and documenting clinical histories to inform care decisions
• Empower and counsel patients on managing chronic diseases, nutrition, and lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes
• Perform clinical procedures including blood taking (phlebotomy), vaccinations, ECGs, and complex wound dressings with accuracy and patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians to coordinate clinical care plans and maintain room readiness for efficient patient flow
• Assist with administrative tasks such as processing MediSave/CHAS claims and billing at the counter to support clinic operations
• Required competencies and certifications
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as a Staff Nurse
• Hold a minimum Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Possess valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Certificate in Phlebotomy
• Fluency in a second language or dialect to enhance patient communication
• Prior experience in clinic operations or insurance claims processing
