Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting in line with Group Accounting and Reporting & Control requirements.
  • Act as a trusted finance advisor to business and operational teams on accounting treatments, controls, reporting requirements, Capex/Revex decisions, leases, accruals, and delegations of authority.
  • Support major capital projects, acquisitions, disposals, and other complex business transactions by providing financial expertise and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance Control, Financial Accounting, Audit, Business Finance, or a similar finance leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, reporting requirements, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, investments, acquisitions, or complex business transactions.
  • Fluent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a complex industrial, manufacturing, refining, energy, or multinational environment is highly valued.
