Additional Information

๐ŸŒ Can you help us change the world? It's true. At Mews, we dream big. As a Hotel Tech unicorn valued at $2.5b, we're propelling new-generation cloud technology within global hospitality. With our industry-leading property management solution , we're enabling the world's most revolutionary hospitality brands to accelerate their digital transformation. We're on the lookout for ambitious, tenacious and passionate people who want to join the next generation of innovators and disrupt the hospitality industry with us. Sound good so far? Keep reading and tumble down the Mews rabbit hole... ๐Ÿ‡ ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ป About the role First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role - especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews - but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: Mews is building the future of hospitality, and our finance data platform is a critical part of that mission. We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to shape what gets built, why, and in what order across our Finance Data team. This isn't a traditional PO role. You'll operate at the intersection of finance operations, data engineering, and financial systems, bringing structure to ambiguity, turning competing demands into clear priorities, and making sure the team's capacity is spent on the work that matters most. โœ… Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Own the product strategy, backlog, and roadmap for Finance Data, covering everything from data pipelines and dbt models to reporting foundations, billing/settlement data flows, and platform governance. Shape messy, cross-functional demand into clear problem statements, trade-offs, and delivery-ready scope. Make prioritisation calls across operational run-support, technical debt, compliance, and new strategic delivery, and communicate the "why" clearly. Protect engineering focus by improving intake, reducing reactive noise, and raising the bar on how work enters the team. Partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Finance, FP&A, Treasury, FinTech, and other stakeholders to deliver data products people actually trust. Drive governance, data quality, lineage, and auditability standards across finance-critical data systems. Lead cross-functional conversations where ownership, scope, or the path forward isn't obvious, and bring clarity. ๐Ÿค You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you: 3+ years in product ownership or product management, specifically in data, platform, or internal tooling environments. You know what good looks like in data-heavy product work. Technical fluency in data engineering concepts: pipelines, dbt, Databricks (or similar), CI/CD, data modelling, testing. You don't need to write the code, but you need to engage credibly with the people who do. Strong instincts for data governance, auditability, and quality. You understand that finance data is different and must be governed accordingly. Experience operating in complex, ambiguous environments where priorities are contested, stakeholders are many, and you need to bring structure without waiting for someone else to provide it. A track record of improving product and delivery maturity from an early baseline, building the intake, shaping, and prioritisation muscles a team needs to scale. Confident communicating trade-offs, capacity constraints, and sequencing decisions to senior finance and technical stakeholders as a peer. Experience in finance data, ERP-adjacent ecosystems, billing/settlement, or complex internal data landscapes is a strong plus. No formal degree required. Equivalent experience in product, data, or finance systems is what counts. Pay Transparency at Mews Salary ranges are provided in good faith and reflect current market conditions and internal pay structures. Final compensation may be adjusted based on funding, budget constraints, or exceptional candidate qualifications, but will remain within reasonable proximity to the stated range. This salary disclosure is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency legislation. We are committed to equal pay practices and prohibit salary history inquiries during our recruitment process. If the location you're applying from wasn't originally advertised for this role, salary range information is available upon request at any point during the application/interview process - your recruiter will be able to help. Pay range for this position โ‚ฌ41.500 - โ‚ฌ67.500 EUR ๐ŸŽ‰ What's in it for you? Did you know Mews was named Best PMS of 2025 - for the second year in a row - and twice recognized as a Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech ? That success is powered by our incredible people and supported by the benefits that help them thrive. ๐ŸŒ Global benefits No matter where you're based, you'll enjoy: Participation in our company share program Best-in-class parental leave (6 months fully
