Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Our R&D Center of Excellence in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement automated tests to ensure the highest standards of product quality. You will develop test scripts, analyze results, and collaborate closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements.
• Create and maintain clear and detailed test documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Design and build automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Continuously improve automation processes and coverage.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovation in test automation.
• Competencies & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with embedded firmware and application development.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and regression pipeline management.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Jira (including RTM plugin), Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of signal processing and communication protocols.
• Strong ability to document, track, and manage project details with precision.
