Sr Director, Product Management - VenturaOS

The Trade Desk is transforming the way global brands and their agencies advertise to audiences around the world. At its best, the internet is an open marketplace of ideas, content, and commerce fueled by relevant advertising. That's why we built an independent media buying platform for the open internet-one that delivers greater transparency, choice, and results for advertisers. We are building Ventura OS, a next-generation Connected TV platform designed to power premium streaming experiences. We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Management to help define and deliver key parts of this platform from the ground up. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in 0→1 environments, enjoys solving complex platform challenges, and wants to shape the future of TV.

Responsibilities

• Own a Core Product Domain : Lead strategy and execution for a major area of Ventura OS (e.g., discovery, personalization, platform services, monetization , etc. )
• Drive Product Strategy & Roadmap : Translate high-level vision into clear product direction, roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives
• Deliver End-to-End : Own the full product lifecycle-from concept and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration
• Operate in a 0→1 Environment : Navigate ambiguity, test new ideas , and build scalable solutions in a fast-moving, startup-like environment
• Partner Cross-Functionally : Work closely with engineering, research , design, data science, and business teams to bring products to life
• Champion the Customer Experience : Build intuitive, engaging consumer experiences across streaming and TV interfaces
• Leverage Data to Drive Decisions : Use analytics, experimentation, and insights to inform product direction and measure success
• Lead & Mentor : Mentor product managers and help elevate product thinking, execution, and impact across the team

Requirements

• Experienced Product Leader : 10+ years in product management, including ownership of complex, consumer- facing or platform products
• Platform & Systems Thinker : Able to think beyond features and design scalable, extensible product systems
• Execution-Focused : Proven track record of shipping products from concept to launch in fast-paced environments
• Technically Fluent : Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding system architecture and tradeoffs
• Influential Leader : Strong ability to align and drive cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Data-Driven : Deeply analytical, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Thrives in Ambiguity : Excited by undefined problems and able to create clarity and momentum
• CTV / Streaming Experience (Preferred) : Familiarity with Connected TV, OTT platforms, or digital media ecosystems is a plus
