The Credit Manager reports to the Director of Corporate Consolidation and Treasury Responsabilities : Credit Management & Collections Define the Group credit policy (by region / segment) Drive international collection performance through local teams Implement standardized reporting, KPIs, and governance Handle complex cases and major disputes Lead credit committees and arbitrate sensitive cases Customer Financing Deployment Define the end-to-end customer financing process Set up monitoring tools (dashboards, alerts, performance tracking) Manage relationships with financial partners Equip sales teams (guides, eligibility criteria, sales pitch) Train sales teams to drive adoption and effectiveness Leasing Offer Structuring Select and negotiate with financial partners Define the distribution model (CRM, CPQ, commissions) Build and refine the customer value proposition Monitor offer profitability and performance Conduct market watch (B2B BNPL, embedded finance, etc.) Recurring Revenue & Cash Automation Integrate credit management into new business models (subscription, services) Automate billing and cash collection processes (e.g., SEPA, digital payments) Structure payment incident management frameworks Define and track KPIs (collections, churn, cost of collection, DSO) Data, Tools & Risk Framework Define credit risk segmentation and scoring approaches Develop predictive analytics (payment behavior, default risk) Implement standardized dashboards and reporting tools Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of processes Interaction with Treasury Provide a consolidated view of customer outstanding balances Contribute to short-term financing decisions Participate in arbitrations (factoring, credit lines) Flag and anticipate risks impacting cash position Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies Partner with Legal on disputes, contracts, and recovery strategies Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness Your profile : Minimum 8 years in Credit Management / asset financing Experience in a specialized financial institution (leasing, factoring), or in a company that has shifted to recurring revenue models (SaaS, as-a-service), is a strong differentiator Experience in an international, multi-currency environment Strong knowledge of collection techniques and international business law (insolvency proceedings, securities, DACH, Benelux, UK specifics, etc.) Solid understanding of asset financing products: equipment leasing, hire purchase, long-term leasing Experience in structuring automated billing and cash collection processes (SEPA, subscription billing platforms, ERP integration) Ability to lead cross-functional projects involving Finance, IT, Sales, and Product
