Responsibilities
- Advise business units on sustainability, ESG, and climate-related legal risks, including regulatory compliance and disclosures
- Support ESG reporting (e.g., SEC, CSRD, TCFD) and ensure alignment with evolving global standards
- Partner with compliance, finance, and operations to embed sustainability into corporate governance and strategy
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments on climate, human rights, and supply chain due diligence, and translate them into actionable guidance
Requirements
- Licensed and good standing as an attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 7+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental, or corporate governance law (law firm or in-house)
- Strong familiarity with ESG frameworks and regulations (e.g., SEC climate rules, CSRD, SASB/ISSB, TCFD)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
