Responsibilities

  • Perform defined portions of fire protection engineering assignments under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Collect, analyze, and correlate engineering data using established procedures and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 2+ years of relevant fire protection or related engineering experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA standards and International Building and Fire Codes.
  • Experience in the design of fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm systems.
  • U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available for this position.

AECOM is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support design and delivery of fire protection and life safety systems for complex building projects. The position is based in Cleveland or Columbus, Ohio and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple market sectors. Why AECOM Ohio B+P?
