About the role

Yulista Tactical Services LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Quality Assurance Representative supports the Government with all quality functions of the CHARLES contract. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Possess technical experience in aircraft structural, hydraulics, and electrical systems. - Possess familiarity with the concept and methodologies of corrective actions and process review/ assessment and system inspections. - Ability to map maintenance process inputs and outputs. - Identify discrepancies and non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and track resolution to closure. - May be required to perform other related duties to meet the on-going needs of the organization. - Establish the Acceptance/Receiving inspection requirements for supplier manufactured items, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf items, etc., to ensure serviceability. - Perform Acceptance/Receiving inspections to include dimensional inspections and validation of Certificates of Conformance for materials and processes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: - Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up. - Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management. - Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista Tactical Services LLC goals. - Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. - High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently. - Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred. - Ability to enter data accurately into established company and customer databases. - Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, engineering drawings and maintenance manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and internal correspondence. - Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members. - Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others. - Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS (Minimum requirements that must be met unless otherwise noted) - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 3+ years of experience as an aircraft inspector or collateral duty inspector with fixed wing commercial, government or DoD aircraft. - General knowledge of AS9100 or AS9110 audit, surveillance, and monitoring requirements. - Perform AS9100/AS9110, Contractors Operating Manual and Statement of Work compliance audits. - Basic understanding of weight and balance performance. - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane and/or Powerplant certification preferred. - Position may require travel.
