Responsibilities

  • Perform onboarding of alternative investment products for new sales and custody only - including the setup of the product in LPL's systems such as security master, digital trading platform, commission platform, and advisor access to investor kits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with related experience in the financial services industry
  • 2+ years broker dealer, investment management, wealth management, or related financial services experience

  • Pay Range:
  • $76,632.00 - $127,720.00

Job Description: The Investment Product Management team within LPL's Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) group is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment solutions. The team's goal from an investment product management perspective is to enhance our clients' experience and our firm's economic and risk profiles. This role will be responsible for the onboarding of private, non-traded alternative investment products for both new sales and for custody only. The Product Analyst will also perform due diligence to evaluate whether certain alternative investment products can transfer to LPL from other firms for custody only. The Product Analyst will coordinate with multiple parties internally and externally in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines. This includes collaborating closely with our legal teams on reviewing and editing selling and service agreements. The Product Analyst will ensure these products are operationally set up with accuracy across our systems to support business. This individual will work closely with alternative investment fund managers via email, phone calls, and web meetings on a frequent basis. Will respond to feedback and requests from LPL Financial advisors. Effective team collaboration is imperative as the Product Analyst will collaborate closely with our Alternative Investment Trading and Operations teams, Supervision, Accounting, Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams to ensure we are business ready to support new products we onboard for sale and custody only. The ability to operate in partnership with other teams within WMS and across the organization is also critical to the role. The position requires a candidate to manage fluid priorities and dynamic situations in a team environment.
