About the role
The Jr. Proposal Manager is a member of Accela's RFP team, supporting the development of competitive proposals for state and local government customers. In this role, you will assist with proposal coordination activities across the full proposal lifecycle, from kickoff through submission, while learning proposal best practices and compliance requirements. This role supports responses to government software RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Manage end-to-end execution of government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs Create proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders Draft, edit, and review proposal content Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements Support proposal process improvements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree 1-3 years of experience in proposal coordination or RFP management Familiarity with government procurement processes Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Qvidian, Loopio or other proposal management software skills
