About the role
Department The Department of Computer Science at the University of York has been a centre of excellence in teaching and research for over fifty years. Role As part of our on-going commitment to this teaching and research excellence, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer who will complement and enhance the research, industrial engagement and teaching strengths of our Automated Software Engineering research group. Details of the active research areas of this group can be found here . Skills, Experience & Qualifications Needed PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Appropriate academic professional and teaching qualifications or a willingness to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice. Specific knowledge of automated software engineering (e.g. model-based development, automated software analysis and testing, AI for software engineering (AI for SE), software engineering for AI (AI for SE)) that would enable supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and research staff.
