p> strong>Block chain Expert Architect /strong> /p> p> strong>Position: Contract /strong> /p> p> strong>Location: San Leandro, CA /strong> /p> p> strong>Duration: 12+ months /strong> /p> p> br> /p> p> strong>Job description: /strong> /p> p>🔹 Provide architectural leadership for blockchain-enabled initiatives, including tokenized deposits, /p> p>digital assets, and distributed settlement use cases, ensuring solutions align with bank-grade /p> p>security, resiliency, and regulatory expectations. /p> p>🔹 Design hybrid architectures that integrate distributed ledger platforms with core banking /p> p>systems, payment platforms, data stores, and event-driven microservices. /p> p>🔹 Define appropriate on-chain vs off-chain responsibilities, including smart contracts, /p> p>orchestration services, API layers, and operational controls. /p> p>🔹 Evaluate and guide usage of permissioned distributed ledger technologies, identity and access /p> p>models, privacy architectures, and governance structures suitable for regulated environments. /p> p>🔹 Familiarity with smart contract concepts as deterministic business rule enforcement, not as /p> p>workflow orchestration. /p> p>🔹 Experience working across payments, liquidity, settlements, or financial market infrastructures /p> p>in large-scale enterprises. /p> p>🔹 Establish architectural guardrails and best practices for emerging digital asset and blockchain /p> p>capabilities, avoiding vendor lock-in and ensuring long-term interoperability and maintainability. /p> p>🔹 Provide thought leadership to engineering teams and stakeholders on where blockchain adds /p> p>business value versus where traditional platforms remain more appropriate. /p> p> /p>
