Senior Business Analyst with Test Automation Experience

In addition to the business analysis focus, you will also contribute hands-on to testing across UI, API and cloud, helping the team improve quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, architects, product stakeholders and dependent teams to make sure requirements are understood, validated and translated into practical solutions. Job DescriptionYou will clarify and break down business requirements into functional and technical requirements. You will make sure requirements align with business needs and create structure when there is uncertainty or ambiguity. You will drive requirements into DevOps teams and support alignment with dependent teams together with the Product Manager. You will define and validate acceptance criteria in close collaboration with architects and developers. You will contribute to manual testing when needed and help automate tests across UI, API and backend. You will support exploratory testing, integration testing and broader quality work in the development lifecycle. You will investigate failures in system tests, incidents and ongoing operations using logs, integrations and browser DevTools. You will report and analyze defects in non-production environments and follow up on progress. You will take an active part in improving monitoring for existing services. Requirements5+ years as business analyst with experience of breaking down requirements from business to functional and functional to technical requirements. 3+ years as tester. Strong ability to structure and validate information. Experience translating needs into clear requirements and solution proposals. Ability to negotiate requirements with DevOps teams and stakeholders. Strong automation or technical background with solid analytical skills. Experience working with digital services. Complete proficiency in English. Proficiency in automating test cases for UI, API and/or backend. Proficiency in API testing with Insomnia or Postman and knowledge of microservices. Hands-on knowledge of API types such as WebSocket, REST and GraphQL. Knowledge of the Software Test Life Cycle and experience with a test management tool. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot or UI Automation. Ability to complete a background check before the assignment starts. Nice to haveLeadership mindset or Scrum Master experience. Experience from digital services in the IoT space. Good knowledge of agile principles. Experience using AI tools such as AWS Kiro or Copilot. Development experience. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines. Swedish language skills.
