WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Centralize and supervise core compensation frameworks and standard processes, ensuring consistent global application. Supervise and support global compliance with statutory requirements, including minimum wage, pay transparency, and other regulatory updates. Collaborate with HR Technology (HRIS) to manage Workday compensation configuration, data integrity, and system enablement. Drive compensation process standardization and efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements at scale. Establish and maintain governance, controls, and documentation to support consistent and audit-ready execution. Support updates and statutory changes through system configuration and process execution. Provide leadership and direction, as a people manager, for global market intelligence and compensation operations, setting priorities, ensuring alignment, and driving consistent execution. Be responsible for delivery of global benchmarking processes (salary surveys) and ensure data integrity and alignment to business needs. Provide oversight of pay structure development and maintenance, ensuring consistency with enterprise frameworks. Ensure effective management of job architecture and benchmarking processes in alignment with internal structures and market data. Partner with HR Tech and team members to ensure Workday data, configuration, and reporting support compensation programs. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, business or related field, or equivalent experience Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) a plus Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification a plus 7+ years of proven experience preferred Experience managing compensation processes, frameworks, and/or systems Experience with job architecture, benchmarking, and compensation survey participation Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred), including configuration and reporting Supporting compensation compliance and regulatory requirements, ideally in a global context Experience leading or coordinating compensation operations and overseeing data coordination efforts Exposure to global compensation programs, including regional nuances Manufacturing experience or experience with hourly production compensation a plus Operating in a matrixed, global organization SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong process orientation with focus on standardization, scalability, and efficiency High attention to detail with emphasis on data accuracy and governance Advanced Excel and data management capability Proficiency with HR systems (Workday or similar) and reporting tools Ability to translate compensation requirements into systems and process execution Ability to lead through others and drive accountability for outcomes Strong collaboration across HR, HR Tech, and global collaborators Strong written and verbal communication skills WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
