As part of their growing outsourced team, they are seeking an experienced Senior Audit and Financial Reporting Specialist to support audit engagements and financial reporting requirements for Australian entities. Job Overview The Senior Audit and Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for managing Australian audit engagements and financial statement preparation from planning through to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of Australian Auditing Standards (ASA), Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), and Australian regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, exercising sound professional judgment, and delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• CA ANZ or CPA Australia qualification (or equivalent recognised in Australia).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in external audit and financial reporting within the Australian regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing Australian audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards (ASA).
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
• Experience preparing general purpose financial statements for Australian entities.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for an Australian professional environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
