Job Summary The Assistant Project Manager is a pivotal role in managing and executing high-value heavy-highway and heavy-civil construction projects. This position involves significant responsibilities in project coordination, team supervision, financial management, and compliance, along with proficient use of specialized construction management software. Coordinate and oversee project planning and execution, using Oracle P6 Scheduling Software for schedule management. Ensure project milestones and goals are achieved within the set timelines and budgets. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and clients. Utilize Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive) for creating presentations, reports, and effective information sharing. Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Employ Microsoft Power BI for advanced reporting, data analysis, and progress tracking. Actively engage with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are effectively managed and addressed. Provide regular project updates and maintain transparent communication channels. Assist in managing project budgets, utilizing Excel and Viewpoint Vista ERP System for financial tracking and reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to budgetary control and financial optimization. Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations. Use Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation for design verification and quality assurance. Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, developing effective solutions to challenges encountered during project execution. Implement and oversee risk management strategies and contingency plans. Support in leading and developing the project team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
