Job description: Are you an experienced project management professional who enjoys working collaboratively? This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for managing projects in a Research or Commercial environment. As part of The University of Sheffield, The AMRC NW people are our heart. You'll connect our customers with project engineers and turn complex goals into clear, actionable roadmaps. Your role involves projects of different scales and durations, all aiming to develop and prove robust, leading manufacturing methods. These methods will be transferred from the shop floor to an industry partner's site. You will assist a coordinated project team created to fulfill the project's requirements. In this environment, you will apply creative thinking and problem-solving by combining research theories with applied manufacturing solutions in a non-production setting. As a Project Manager, you will need to demonstrate strong skills in managing the low-risk handover of these solutions to industrial partners.
