Transportation Specialist (leased Equipment)

About the role

You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST (LEASED EQUIPMENT) in the Maintenance Office of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)managing and coordinating complex Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) and leased-equipment programs across multiple customer activities; 2)conducting detailed transportation analyses such as cost studies, utilization reviews, and equipment-requirement justifications; and applying a working knowledge of DoD, NAVFAC, and federal transportation regulations to real-world operational decisions. 3)Experience liaising with senior military and civilian personnel, overseeing contracted equipment and validating billing accuracy, and maintaining accurate transportation records and databases.
