The Sr. Human Resources Manager is responsible for all on-site Human Resources duties. The incumbent will partner with Operational Leaders to ensure facility operations are adequately staffed while attaining high employee satisfaction and engagement. The incumbent is responsible for developing, guiding, and executing initiatives in the areas of culture, change management, talent assessment and development, succession, and performance management to drive high performance for a diverse workforce. This position is located at our Cleveland, TX facility. Primary responsibilities and/or essential functions include, but are not limited to: Coach and advise leaders, support multiple functions/departments to create a high-performance culture through talent management, performance management, and leadership development (coach, counsel, career development, performance management, etc.). Collaborate with leadership to develop strategy, addressing employee related issues. Monitor absenteeism Monitor turnover Promote positive morale Organize programs to engage employees Labor relations matters Lead/manage projects and/or participates as a project member on HR initiatives as assigned. Develop written and oral presentations that have high clarity and impact. Provide regular written reports as needed. Identify and apply innovative ideas to adapt to changing work demands. Develop and implement policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of each department. This includes programs associated with labor & employee relations, diversity & inclusion, employee complaints, external education, and career development. The incumbent will not only demonstrate, but will also lead initiatives, promote participation, and recognize employees and leaders that live by the organization's commitments and values. The incumbent is responsible for building relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to support the organization's mission. Participate in and support quality projects and initiatives to ensure that the company achieves its goals. Utilize and ensure accuracy of HRIS system to obtain various metrics to include: Turnover Open Positions Time to fill positions Employee satisfaction (Survey Results) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field OR minimum of 7 years of relevant HR experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on HR experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment 2+ years of experience in a unionized environment Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, discipline, and performance management Working knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.) Experience supporting frontline supervisors and hourly workforce Ability to manage high-volume, day-to-day HR issues with minimal oversight Strong communication skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations Experience using HR systems (HRIS) for employee data, reporting, and tracking Ability to use basic workforce data (turnover, attendance, etc.) to inform decisions
