About the role

We are seeking a Hardware Engineer with strong PCB design experience to help develop the next generation of electronics powering our autonomous platforms. This role will focus on the design, integration, testing, and bring-up of custom electronic systems spanning compute, power distribution, sensing, communications, embedded processing, and avionics-related hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design schematic capture and multilayer PCB layouts for embedded and autonomous systems
  • Develop electronics for computing, sensing, power management, communications, and control subsystems
  • Support component selection, bring-up, debugging, validation, and integration of custom hardware designs
  • Perform board-level testing, signal integrity analysis, power validation, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain design documentation, schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and revision control workflows
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, validation infrastructure, and hardware reliability practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering with a focus on PCB design
  • Experience designing multilayer PCBs for embedded or high-performance systems
  • Proficiency with PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals
  • Familiarity with power systems, voltage regulation, and embedded processor integration
  • Ability to read datasheets, validate hardware performance, and troubleshoot complex system issues
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional engineering environments
  • Experience designing electronics for UAVs, robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems
  • Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, telemetry, or wireless communications
  • Experience with high-speed PCB layout considerations and signal integrity analysis
  • Experience supporting prototype-to-production hardware development cycles
  • Experience operating in startup or rapid prototyping environments
