🇸🇬 Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Job Responsibilities 1. Pre-Contract Stage Prepare quantity take-offs based on construction drawings Prepare project budgets and cost estimates Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) Assist in the preparation and issuance of tender documents Analyse and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers Assist in contract review and negotiation 2. Construction Stage Prepare and review monthly progress claims Review and verify subcontractor and supplier payment claims Handle Variation Orders (VO) and conduct cost evaluations Monitor project costs to ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget Follow up on site progress and liaise with the Project Team / Site Team Prepare, update, and maintain cost reports 3. Post-Contract Stage Prepare and finalise Final Accounts Carry out reconciliation with Clients, Main Contractors, and Subcontractors Assist in handling claims, delays, and dispute matters Prepare and maintain proper filing of cost and contract documentation 4. Other Responsibilities Familiar with Singapore construction contracts (e.g. SIA / BCA) Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers Perform other duties as assigned by management
