- Thorough knowledge of all product lines, contracts, related operating policies and rating practices of the corporation and its subsidiaries required.
- Thorough understanding of corporate goals and objectives and the effect they have on the sales division required.
- Working knowledge of federal and state mandated laws, alternate funding arrangements, rating practices and retention formulas required.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and regulatory updates.

- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or higher preferred with emphasis in business administration, health care, finance or economics.
- Minimum two years' experience in managing large and complex group health accounts required. Other self-funded benefit sales and sales management or health care delivery systems and Blue Plan background preferred.
- Minimum five years' direct sales and retention experience in a competitive environment required.
- Minimum two years' leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Required to obtain and maintain a license issued by the State of Kansas for Health, Accident and Life Insurance.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that qualifies for the company automobile insurance.
