Pastor (Mandarin Speaking)

Requirements

• Degree in Theology from a recognised theological institution.
• Able to preach and minister effectively in Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Relevant pastoral or ministry experience is preferred but not essential.
• Passion for shepherding God's people and reaching the community with the Gospel.
• Good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays as required by church ministry.
• Competencies:
• Ability to empathize with people's life experiences.
• Ability to cope with inevitable conflicts, hurts, pains and setbacks.
• Good sense of identification, commitment, tact, diplomacy & discretion.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of pastoral and social issues.

Additional Information

Job Description/Key Responsibilities Preach and teach the Word of God in Mandarin. Provide pastoral care, counselling, visitation and spiritual guidance to church members. Lead and disciple the Mandarin congregation through regular worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings and other church ministries. Equip and mentor ministry leaders and volunteers. Support evangelism, outreach and discipleship initiatives. Work closely with the church leadership to plan and implement the church's vision and ministry objectives. Participate in church meetings and administrative responsibilities as required.
