Lab Demonstrator PSYC 2P20 Winter D3

Requirements

• Must have completed or be enrolled in PSYC 5Y51/52/61/62/71/72 or PSYC 7Y51/52/53/61/62/63/71/72/73, or 5F01, within the previous five years; OR Minimum 3rd Year complete and currently enrolled in a PSYC BA or BSc program, with an average of at least 80; and have taken this course within the previous five years, and achieved a grade of at least 80. Previous successful experience as a Lab Demonstrator in this course in an academic setting will be considered as equivalent. 2. Must demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of all aspects of the lab experiments to clearly explain during lab; 3. Must have strong experimental ddesign skills. 4. Must have excellent oral communication skills; 5. Must have the interpersonal qualities to be supportive of students and effective in leading group discussion; 6. Must have strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to keep accurate records/manage data; 7. Must have excellent time management skills in order to cover the required course material during the available lab time; 8. Must be adept at providing feedback to students in a constructive manner; 9. Must be comfortable leading computer lab experiments; 10. Must be able and willing to present material/conduct seminars in-person; 11. Must be able and willing to maintain contact with the instructor, fellow teaching assistants and enrolled students in-person and by email and audio-video conferencing.
