We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction levels. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments work cohesively to deliver outstanding guest experiences Act as a role model for staff, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional conduct Manage and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including reception, concierge, and housekeeping teams Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures Coordinate with various departments to address operational issues and implement improvements Handle check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and special guest requests Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance Manage shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of important information Generate and analyse reports on key performance indicators, occupancy rates, and guest feedback Support other areas of the hotel during peak times or as needed Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to approach guests and build relationships Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanour under pressure Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS or similar systems) Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per business demands Thorough knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and industry best practices Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus) Dedication to maintaining high standards of customer service and attention to detail Ability to make quick, sound decisions in challenging situations Familiarity with local attractions and services in Phu Quoc to assist guests with inquiries What awaits you...
