Job Overview The Rehabilitation Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation therapy functions. This position is responsible for all aspects of rehab care and the supervision of PT and OT staff. Being a Rehabilitation Supervisor include s providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the Rehabilitation staff. Will interact, coordinate, and facilitate activities with all disciplines, departments, and appropriate regulatory agencies. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in PT- Preferred) or in Occupational Therapy required. Doctorate in OT-Preferred. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in an area where a license is required. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a Healthcare environment is required. A current license in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy issued by the State of California Physical Therapy Board is required. Geriatric experience (ex., Acute Care, Skilled Nursing) as required by CMS PACE regulations. Experience in Interdisciplinary team environments is highly desirable. A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
