About the role
You will serve as the FACILITITIES MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST) in the Integrated Engagement Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322). Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing facilities operations in a large, complex installation or campus-style environment. Qualifying experience may include planning and coordinating facilities maintenance, repair, space utilization requirements, capital improvement projects (CIP), safety inspection programs, ensuring compliance with policies and directives, managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and close collaboration with program engineers, NAVFAC, and Senior leadership.
