About the role

Policy sits at the heart of some of the most consequential challenges our clients face. As a Consultant who specialise in policy communications at Milltown Partners, you'll be a trusted adviser to technology companies navigating complex regulatory and political landscapes across the UK and Europe - shaping strategy, driving execution, and helping clients understand and shift the environment they operate in. Consultants are the driving force behind our teams. You'll set direction for client work alongside senior colleagues, manage junior team members, and advise clients directly. This is a role for someone who has built real advisory expertise and is ready to apply it at pace across a portfolio of influential clients. We're looking for someone with at least 4 years' experience working at the intersection of policy and communications, ideally in consultancy, a technology company, or government.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver client work
• You'll manage the work of junior colleagues, creating clear project plans, delegating effectively, demonstrating agility to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard. Getting things done well - and supporting others to do the same - is central to the role.
• Contribute to business development
• Build a collaborative environment
• You'll give and receive feedback regularly, actively seek input from colleagues at all levels, and demonstrate allyship to everyone on the team. Creating an inclusive environment where brilliant work happens is everyone's responsibility.
