Experience supporting troubleshooting through experimentation, data analysis, and root cause investigation. Ability to maintain documentation, monitor shelf life and sensory performance, and conduct technical reviews. Familiarity with lab equipment operation, calibration, and analytical testing methods. Proficiency in standard software tools (e.g., MS Office). Experience Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline. 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing or product development. Nice-to-Have Hands-on experience with bakery or grain-based systems. Experience with plant-based ingredients, fibers, starches, or proteins. Exposure to plant trials, scale-up, or commercialization activities. things you will do... Develop and support analytical SOPs and testing methods. Conduct lab and analytical testing, including sample preparation and data collection. Assess ingredient functionality and support formulation improvements. Troubleshoot technical and production issues using structured experimentation and data analysis. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of tests, trials, and observations. Monitor shelf life, sensory changes, and product performance over time. Support plant trials and assist with process validation activities. Operate and calibrate lab equipment as required. Collaborate cross-functionally to support consistent product and process outcomes. OTHER ... Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a lab or plant environment. Flexibility to support plant trials (early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends).
